You'd be hard pressed to find a town the size of Churubusco with a plethora of local entertainment, but what we can offer is a hometown atmosphere that surrounds our activities.

The community park has been the central focal point for town gatherings, events and activities for both young and old for over 50 years.

The Churubusco Youth League provides a venue for children of all ages to participate in baseball or softball. This helps them build social interaction, teamwork and good sportsmanship. All of these attributes are what contribute to our community and someday may help turn local citizens into business owners.

In mid-June the always popular Turtle Days takes center stage in the town for 4 straight days. The community park turns into a world of imagination for both young and old with carnival games, rides, music, talent shows and vendors.

Known as a challenging 18-hole course and one that even the most novice player enjoys playing is the Eel River Golf Course. A completely renovated clubhouse also provides golf year round with two simulating machines offering several challenging courses from around the world.

And of course there are local plays put on by Churubusco students, sporting events during the entire year and fundraiser's for local non-profit organizations.
