Monthly Business Luncheon

On the second Thursday of the month at 12 noon, members get a chanct to have a say in Chamber happenings, hear local speakers and network with other Churubusco business men and women. You can view our calendar for upcoming events.

 

Turtle Day Races

Every year the Chamber helps sponsor the Turtle Day races at the Turtle Days Festival in June.

 

Picnic In The Park

Another annual event in which the Chamber provides free food and drinks, a car show and the always entertaining Chamber vs. Firemen softball game.

 

Pork Burger Sale

In the spring, the Chamber sells's pork burgers and all profits go to business scholarships which go to local high school seniors.

The Churubusco Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit, membership-driven organization comprised of 60 business enterprises, civic organizations, education institutions and individuals. Its mission is to provide leadership that will help create regional economic prosperity and success for its members in northeast Whitley County.

 

Join the Churubusco Chamber of Commerce and be a part of an organization devoted to promoting, extending and fostering retail, industrial, professional, agricultural, service, civic and cultural growth of the Town of Churubusco.

 

The Chamber of Commerce strives to create, maintain, and extend a friendly and helpful attitude between businesses and Churubusco citizens, to promote and help established business and industry, and to welcome new business and industry.

 

The Chamber's efforts foster enthusiasm in the community so as to allow for positive relationships, which hopefully result in prosperity and continued growth.

 

The Chamber of Commerce was organized in the 1970's and today has 60 businesses and growing. Today the board of directors consists of 13 local business representatives. President is Kathy Ford of Star Financial Bank; vice president is Jim Horne of Parker Insurance; treasurer is John Schmidt of Prudential Insurance and executive secretary is Dee Dee McCoy of Bonar Insurance.
